We have obtained various approvals and have currently various applications underway for a development of 75,142m² offices, 10,200m² data centre and 9,300m² retail floor area.  The residential component includes 511 detached units (of which 25 are detached retirement units), 667 apartments, and 801 retirement apartments.

Land Use Management application submitted and granted for more than 1 500 new homes in the GAP and affordable housing markets. *Winners of the 2007 Provisional Housing Award for best layout design.

 

 

Avalon Estate

The firm undertook the township establishment application, including layout design, and coordinated the entire process up to completion.

 

 

 

Groot Phesantekraal, Durbanville

This is an ongoing township establishment project consisting of various development phases. Various applications for township establishment have been submitted over a 10 year period for the establishment of various residential precincts as well as the Graanendal Shopping Centre. The current undertaking includes the development of 3 600 upmarket residential erven, with associated community facilities.

 

 

 

Brackengate Industrial Park, Brackenfell

Land Use Application submitted and approval granted for the rezoning and subdivision of 94 erven for light industrial purposes.

 

 

 

Erf 821

We have recently received approval for a development of 405 flats and a small crèche and retail area on Cape Farm 821 in Schaap Kraal, Ottery. This application we believe will breathe fresh life into an area ripe for investment. It will also contribute towards significant road upgrading in the area.

 

 

 

 

Radyn Lifestyle Centre, Ladismith

Concept and layout design for a new lifestyle estate constituting 150 erven made up of a combination of residential units, a retirement village and small scale farming enterprises.

 

 

 

 

Engen Petroleum LTD

Terraplan is contracted to compile desirability and feasibility reports for greenfield sites, as well as manage the submission of Land Use applications for numerous Engen filling stations sites in the Western and Eastern Cape. Filling station sites include: Durbanville Service Centre(Durbanville), Eastlake Service Centre (Muizenberg), Frank Vos Service Station (Worcester), Kloof Street Service Station (Cape Town CBD), Settlersway Service Station (Mowbray), Hillside Motors.

 

 

Value Logistics

Application submitted for the establishment of the new headquarters for Value Logistics in the Western Cape. The facility consisted of a 50 000m2 warehouse and ancillary office buildings.

 

 

 

Village Square

Terraplan was appointed from 2008 to 2018 to assist Sanlam Properties with the approvals for the 10 000m² GLA retail centre in the Durbanville CBD. The centre is to open in November 2018.

 

 

 

 

Curro Campus

Curro Campus. Terraplan was appointed to undertake the land use approvals for the first new Curro Campus and schools in Durbanville. The proposal is to be approved soon and will entail 3 schools and university campus with a full range of educational facilities. Construction is to start in 2021.

 

 

 

Durbanville Gardens

Terraplan was appointed during 2017 to undertake the land use approval for a 500 unit assisting living development in Durbanville, containing in addition a frail care facility and day hospital.
